Okay, so Jesus died to pay our debt for not being perfect? Actually, we lied. Kind of. After His crucifixion, Jesus rose again and was seen by His followers three days later. This is one of the reasons why the Bible is still today's best-selling book. It even out-sells Harry Potter.

The people back then were so shaken by those events that they started the calendar all over again from the year 0. It was a huge deal. This is why we separate our dates into BC and AD - that is, Before Christ and After Death. In those days, the coming of what they referred to as the "Messiah" (a fancy word meaning "someone who will save the world") had been predicted for thousands of years, along with many more predictions that Jesus Christ fulfilled during his life on Earth.

Here's some more good news. You weren't an accident of nature. God is the Daddy. Or, "the Father" of us all. He first made Adam and Eve and the rest is History. You didn't evolve from an ape (even people who dance like apes did not evolve from them). The world's best scientists can't make anything "evolve" - ask them honestly and they'll tell you there are more missing pieces in the theory of evolution than in a jumble sale Jigsaw puzzle. This is why scientists such as Stephen Hawking become believers... because human evolution is a theory that science cannot prove and a leap of faith is required to believe it. The same leap of faith is required to believe we have been created by God.
